Marwari College, Ranchi Admission 2026

Marwari College Ranchi offers a well-structured admission process that ensures transparency and ease for prospective students. The admission process varies slightly between undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs. For undergraduate courses like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, and BCA, students are admitted based on merit, determined by their marks in the qualifying 10+2 examination. In some cases, entrance exams are conducted for specific courses to evaluate the academic capability of the candidates. Similarly, admission to postgraduate programs such as M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, and MBA is either through an entrance exam or the marks secured in the student’s undergraduate degree. Diploma courses, including those in Business Management and Computer Applications, generally offer direct admission based on qualifying examination performance.

The college also ensures that the admission process is smooth with timely notifications about the important dates, such as the start of applications, entrance exam dates, and final admission deadlines. The eligibility criteria are based on specific percentages, with undergraduate programs typically requiring a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying 10+2 exams and postgraduate courses demanding at least 55% in the relevant undergraduate degree. The admissions are usually announced in May, with entrance exams conducted in June, and the admission process concludes by July. The entire process is designed to help students select the right course and ensures a systematic entry into the college.
