Amity University, Jharkhand (AUJ) was founded by the State Legislature vide Act No. 13 of 2016, and its notification no. L.G.-10/2016-90/Legi.-Jharkhand Assembly, and further notified by Jharkhand Gazette No. 314, on 16 May 2016 bringing it under the definition and recognition vide under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University is authorised to provide the as stated by the UGC under Section 22 of the UGC Act with the consent of the statutory councils, when necessary, through their main campus. The University was enlisted and recognised by the UGC under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.

The application process is conducted both online and offline by Amity University, Ranchi. Candidates must, however, register on the relevant government website in order to take the entrance exam.

Correctly complete the application form and attach a scanned copy of your most recent passport-sized photo and class X report card.
The INR 1,100 application cost can be paid online with a credit card, debit card, or net banking account.

Offline

The application form is also available for purchase at the Amity Ranchi campus or download from the official website.
The INR 1100 application fee can be paid in cash or by making a demand draft payable to "Amity Form" at Ranchi.

Internship Opportunities

Students are provided both paid and unpaid internships.
Stipend of up to ₹20,000 is offered in reputed companies like Google, Infosys, etc.
Students receive guidance and training at every step for securing internships.
Internship support includes building networking skills and LinkedIn profile enhancement.
Many students take off-campus internships to gain market knowledge.
The placement department assists students in approaching companies for internships.

Placement Experience

Companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Amazon, and others visit the campus for recruitment.
The highest package offered was ₹45 LPA.
Eligibility for placement requires a good CGPA and performance in interviews.
BCA students become eligible for placement after the 5th semester.
In 2023, a BCA student secured ₹44 LPA from Human.
While the university claims 100% placement, in 2023, only 6 out of 60 students were placed, as many opted for higher studies like MCA and MBA.

Amity University Jharkhand- Scholarship

Students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees are eligible for scholarships.

A 100% scholarship is available to applicants who graduate with 80% or higher and score 93% or higher in their 10+2.
50% scholarship is provided to individuals scoring between 88% and 92% in 10+2 and 75%+ in graduation.
For MBA students, individuals who score over 80 percentile on the CAT and between 70 and 80 percentile in the 10+2 are eligible for a 25% scholarship.
Sports scholarships up to 25% of course price is also granted by the institution.
