Uttarakhand's Garhwal Central University is called HNBGU. The institution provides research programs in a number of fields in addition to UG, PG, UG Diploma, and PG Diploma programs. HNBGU offers 11 schools in different subject areas.

Three campuses make up HNBGU: Birla Chauras Campus (BCC), B. Gopal Reddy Campus (BGR), Pauri, and Swami Ram Teerth Campus (SRT). The university is affiliated with 121 colleges and institutes located throughout seven districts in Uttarakhand's Garhwal area.

The institution was founded in 1973 and has received accreditation from PCI, UGC, and AICTE in addition to a "A" grade from the NAAC under the direction of highly skilled, knowledgeable staff members and talented, motivated students.

The admissions procedure requires the following stages to be completed:

Students must visit the university website in order to participate in the online application process.
Application forms are available on the university's official website.
On the website, there are comprehensive instructions on how to fill out the application.
A bank challan is required to be used to pay the application fee.

Essential Records:

·   Mark sheet and certificates for graduation

·   Master's degree, and 10+2 (if applicable)

·  Scorecard for the entrance exam

·  Migration Certificate Caste Certificate

·   Merit Scholarship for B.Ed. Students: Six students who place first in the university's entrance exam for admission to a B.Ed program are awarded this scholarship, which entitles them to a monthly scholarship of INR 200.

·   Merit Scholarship for BPL Students: This scholarship, which is awarded to 10 intellectually gifted university students, is worth INR 1500 per month to students who fall under the BPL category.

·   The Shri Kalyaneshwar Temple Scholarship is available to deserving students in both UG and PG programs who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

·       Smt. Shanti Devi Shaligram Bhatt Scholarship: Three university students receive this financial aid each year. Two of these scholarships are available to UG or PG students, while one fellowship is awarded to a mass communication student who has received 60% or 50% of the possible points in the previous exam. The applicant's household income must be INR 60,000 annually.

HNBGU holds recruitment drives each year, in which a number of prestigious companies take part. Each year, 70% of applicants are placed. Renowned companies interview candidates and choose them. Students in their final semester are elected and qualified to take part in placement drives. Below are the placement highlights from the previous year:
