GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT), commonly referred to as Pantnagar University, was founded in 1960 in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Presently, it provides 2 undergraduate programs, 8 postgraduate programs, and 7 Ph.D. programs. The undergraduate offerings include B.Sc. and B.Tech, while the postgraduate options encompass M.Sc., M.Tech., MVSc, MBA, MCA, and M.Sc. Hostel Facilities: With 22 hostels spread across the campus, GBPUAT accommodates students from outside Uttarakhand. These hostels, comprising 12 for boys and 10 for girls, can each house up to 150 students and offer mess services. Additionally, they provide Wi-Fi connectivity for residents.

Common Rooms: Separate common rooms are available for male and female students, equipped with amenities such as television sets and air conditioning units for their comfort.

Library: GBPUAT's library caters to all departments and accommodates over 150 students at a time. Its collection includes a vast array of books, totaling 1,12,350 volumes, with a significant focus on science and technology-related literature.

Music & Cultural Rooms: The university allocates separate spaces, such as music and cultural rooms, for various cultural societies to practice their activities, including dancing, singing, and arts.

Cafeteria: In addition to hostel mess facilities, a cafeteria serves students across all 8 colleges. Equipped with four air conditioners, it can accommodate up to 200 students simultaneously. The cafeteria offers affordable, high-quality food, featuring over 30 items on its menu.

Outdoor Courts: GBPUAT provides outdoor sports enthusiasts with options such as basketball, volleyball, tennis, and badminton. Outdoor courts, including matted surfaces, are available for student use, complemented by water coolers for their convenience.
