The MICAT syllabus covers psychometric assessment, descriptive writing, and aptitude-based questions.

1. Psychometric Test
   Personality assessment, behavioural preferences, and decision-making.

2. Descriptive Test
   Essay writing, creative expression, argument development, and written communication.

3. Divergent and Convergent Thinking
   Creative problem-solving, logical reasoning, pattern recognition, and analytical thinking.

4. Verbal Ability
   Vocabulary, grammar, sentence correction, and verbal reasoning.

5. Quantitative Ability
   Arithmetic, percentages, ratios, averages, algebra, and other mathematical concepts.

6. Data Interpretation
   Tables, charts, graphs, data analysis, and interpretation of numerical information.

Candidates should practise both objective questions and descriptive writing.
