Hostel - 2025 (SRM University, Amaravati)

SRM University, Andhra Pradesh, offers hostel facilities that come in a variety of categories based on room type, occupancy, and various other amenities. The fees for hostel accommodation in the new academic year 2024-25 are as follows: A two-sharing air-conditioned room will cost ₹1,25,000 for room charges and ₹70,000 for the mess. Hence, the total comes to ₹1,95,000 for a whole year. The non-AC version, however, comes at the same occupancy cost as ₹85,000 for the room rent and ₹70,000 for mess charges, and sums up to ₹1,55,000 per year. A one-time refundable caution deposit of ₹10,000 is required irrespective of the type of room that is taken up. The sharing options include three, four, five, six, and eight-sharing rooms that are available both in AC and non-AC versions.

For instance, an eight-sharing non-AC room is available at ₹30,000 for room rent and ₹70,000 for mess charges, amounting to ₹1,00,000 per annum. This will ensure that the students get to choose accommodations based on their budgetary requirements and comfort needs. The rooms in the hostel are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability at the time of booking.
