Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), Aurangabad, Maharashtra, is a leading public state university founded on August 23, 1958. The university is named after the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, and is a key player in the educational, cultural, and social development of the Marathwada region. It is validated by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and graded "B++" by NAAC. BAMU serves more than 400 affiliated colleges spread over four districts: Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, and Osmanabad.
