Admission Process

  1. Check Eligibility Criteria
     
    • Ensure you have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC-NC).
       
    • Final-year students can also apply.
       
  2. Register for CUET-PG
     
    • Visit the NTA CUET-PG website and fill out the application form.
       
    • Choose relevant subjects based on the program you are applying for at TISS.
       
  3. Apply on TISS Admission Portal
     
    • After CUET registration, go to the official TISS Admissions Portal
       
    • Fill the TISS application form and mention your CUET-PG details and program preferences.
       
    • Pay the application fee (₹1,000 per program for General candidates, ₹250 for SC/ST/OBC-NC with income proof).
       
  4. Appear for CUET-PG
     
    • Take the CUET-PG exam on the scheduled date.
       
    • Wait for the results to be declared by NTA.
       
  5. Shortlisting for WAT & PI
     
    • Based on CUET-PG scores, TISS shortlists candidates for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
       
    • Shortlisted candidates receive call letters with schedule and instructions.
       
  6. Attend WAT and PI
     
    • Participate in the WAT (a short essay) and PI, either online or on-campus as instructed.
       
    • These tests assess critical thinking, communication skills, and alignment with TISS values.
       
  7. Declaration of Merit List
     
    • Final selection is based on a weighted score: CUET-PG (50%), WAT (20%), PI (30%).
       
    • TISS releases a merit list and waitlist.
       
  8. Document Verification
     
    • Shortlisted candidates must upload or present original documents for verification (marksheets, caste/income certificate, CUET scorecard, etc.).
       
  9. Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation
     
    • Pay the first semester fees online to confirm admission.
       
    • Join the orientation and complete registration.
