Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, (HIMS) Lucknow

Hind Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS), situated in Safedabad, Barabanki district of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, is a private medical college and hospital, founded in 2005, with its medical college activities initiated in 2009. Affiliated to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University and approved by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, HIMS provides various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medicine, nursing, and allied health sciences. The institute is accredited by the Indian Nursing Council and the Medical Council of India (MCI) to ensure that it follows national standards in medical education and training.

HIMS offers a range of courses, among which the MBBS course needs candidates to have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks and must have a valid NEET score. The first-year MBBS course fee is around ₹15.56 lakhs. The other courses offered are B.Sc. Nursing (₹78,000 annually), Diploma courses (₹54,000 annually), D.Pharm (₹50,000 annually), ANM (₹36,000 annually), M.Sc. (₹1.08 lakhs annually), and P.B.B.Sc. (₹75,000 annually)

Hostel fees for MBBS students are about ₹1,50,000 for Non-AC single rooms per year and ₹1,75,000 for AC single rooms per year. 

The postgraduate students, especially the students in MD/MS courses, get more expensive accommodations. Accommodation charges in the hostels for MD/MS students lie between ₹2,50,000 to ₹3,00,000 a year based on the type of room and facility offered.
