2011 saw the founding of JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), Jaipur, by J.K. Organization (JKO). NAAC has awarded the institute a "A" grade for accreditation. Business World's Region-Wise Ranking of Private Universities places JKLU at number 10 (North India), while India Today ranks it at number two among Rajasthan's Top Private Engineering Colleges. Under the Education Excellence Awards-2022 category, Zee Rajasthan presented JKLU with the Excellence in Community Engagement and Outreach award. One of the four Atal Incubation Centers in Rajasthan backed by the Atal Innovation Mission and NITI Aayog is JKLU-Atal Incubation Center (AIC).

With the greatest faculty-to-student ratio in the area, JKLU provides possibilities for experiential learning. Courses for B.Tech, BBA, and B.Des programs are available at the UG level, and M.Des and M.Tech programs are available at the PG level. UCEED or JKLU DET scores are used to determine entrance to B.Des courses; merit is used to determine admission to other courses. JKLU also provides Ph.D. programs in management and engineering in addition to these. A personal interview is conducted after the entrance exam to determine admission to the JKLU Ph.D. program.

Scholarships for B.Tech, BBA, and BCA

Meritorious applicants are encouraged and supported by JKLU through its unique scholarship program. The candidate may be eligible for a scholarship that waives the university academic requirement in whole. The scholarship is given out in accordance with academic performance in class XII grades (only to those who passed in 2023 or 2024).

The following scoring scheme is used for the evaluation of scholarships based on 10+2 class grades:

The required subjects for a B. Tech are English, Math, Chemistry, and Physics.
English, one Math/Physics/Economics/Accountancy/Computer Science/Informatics, and two disciplines of the applicant's choice are required for the BCA. Subjects receiving 50% or more in internal marks will not be taken into consideration.
English and three other subjects of the applicant's choosing are required for the BBA. Subjects who receive internal grades of 50% or above won't be assessed.

The scholarship for the B.Des will be awarded based on three factors, with a maximum cumulative total of 75%. Here are the specifics:
