Placement Experience

  1. Eligibility:
    • Students are eligible for campus placements starting from the 3rd semester.
    • As a 1st-semester student, you are not yet eligible for placements, and this year marks the first batch going for placements.
  2. CMA Exam Placements:
    • Students who clear the CMA exams are expected to receive an average salary of 4.5-5 lakh per annum.
  3. Types of Jobs:
    • Placements at the college often focus more on sales roles rather than marketing or HR positions.
    • Freshers should focus on building their skills rather than chasing high packages initially. The industry is vast, and a strong skillset is essential.
  4. Hard Work Required:
    • While companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit campus, students need to work really hard to secure good placements. If you don’t perform well, you may end up with less desirable roles at average companies.

Internship Opportunities

  1. Internship Eligibility:
    • Internships are mandatory from the 5th semester. You can either arrange your own internship or the college may assist in finding one.
  2. Internship Process:
    • The college does not handle the process of securing internships but requires students to get an internship certificate and publish a research paper at the end of the semester.
    • There's minimal monitoring of the authenticity of internship details, meaning students could theoretically falsify certificates, although it is advised to take internships seriously for skill development.
  3. Focus on Resume Building:
    • The mandatory internship helps build a better resume for future career prospects, and students don’t need to spend extra time during their schedule searching for internships.
