Godavari Institute of Engineering & Technology (GIET) was established in the year 1998 in East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh it is a well-known autonomous university GIET is a well-known educational institute that has been providing an excellent education for more than 2 decades.

It is the first engineering college situated in East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh to get full autonomous status, which offers engineering in 7 specializations at both UG and PG levels as well as doctoral programs, including diplomatic courses in a variety of disciplines.
