The Assam Kaziranga University – Admission 

Kaziranga University (KU) admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam for most of the courses. For admissions to courses such as BTech, MBA, MCA, etc the university accepts admission based on state or national-level entrance exams or the Kaziranga University Entrance and Scholarship Test (KUEST). The application process for the university is conducted in both online and offline modes. It offers admissions through both entrance exams and direct admission, depending on the course: 

Engineering (B.Tech): Admissions are primarily based on the Assam CEE (Common Entrance Examination) or JEE Main scores. Candidates may also apply through the university’s entrance exam, KUEST (Kaziranga University Entrance and Scholarship Test). 

MBA: Requires valid scores from CAT, MAT, XAT, or KUEST. 

Other Undergraduate Courses (BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, etc.): These generally allow direct admissions based on 10+2 results, with some courses requiring a university entrance exam (KUEST) for scholarships or certain streams. 

Postgraduate Programs (M.Tech, M.Sc, etc.): Candidates need to have qualifying marks in their bachelor's degree and, in some cases, must clear the university's entrance exam or present relevant entrance exam scores.
