Gujarat Maritime University (GMU), established under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, in Gandhinagar, aims to become a global center of excellence in maritime education. GMU offers a one-year full-time LLM program in two disciplines, a one-year Executive Development Program (EDP) in two disciplines for working professionals, and a two-year MBA program in Maritime Management with a specialization in Shipping & Logistics Management. Candidates seeking admission must apply online. For the LLM program, applicants need an LLB or equivalent degree in law from a recognized university with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA for General Category and 45% for SC/ST Category candidates. Admission to the EDP courses requires a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The MBA program requires a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA, with a reduced requirement of 45% for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS Category candidates. GMU follows the Government of India's reservation criteria.
