MODY UNIVERSITY, SIKAR

Mody University offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Admission to these programs is based on scores from various national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, CAT, NATA, and more. For Ph.D. programs, candidates are assessed based on their performance in an entrance test and an interview.

Application Procedure

1. Entrance Exam: Applicants must apply for and take the relevant online entrance exam, securing valid scores.
2. University Application: After obtaining the entrance exam scores, candidates must apply through the official Mody University website.
3. Shortlisting: Based on entrance exam scores, candidates will be shortlisted for the next steps, which include university-level document verification.
4. Document Verification and Fee Payment: Shortlisted candidates must undergo document verification and pay the required fees.
5. Final Admission: Admission is finalized based on entrance exam scores, successful 

document verification, and fee payment.

Mody University Ph.D. Admission

1. Application Submission: Eligible candidates must submit an application form along with all required documents.
2. Entrance Test: Candidates need to take the entrance test conducted by Mody University.
3. Interview: Those who pass the entrance test must then appear for an interview.
4. Verification and Fee Payment: Candidates who pass the interview must participate in document verification and fee payment.
5. Final Admission: The final admission decision is based on the combined scores of the entrance test, performance in the interview, document verification, and fee payment.

Merit Scholarship Session 2024-25: 

1. Category A1 (50% Scholarship): 

• Achieve ≥95% marks in the last qualifying exam (aggregate or best five core subjects) OR score well in exams like JEE, CUET, CLAT, UCEED, NIFT, LSAT, or other All India Level UG/PG exams. 

• If both percentages are available, the higher one will be considered. 

1. Category A2 (25% Scholarship): 

• Attain (≥80% - <95%) marks in the last qualifying exam (aggregate or best five core subjects) OR perform well in exams like JEE, CUET, CLAT, UCEED, NIFT, LSAT, or other All India Level UG/PG exams. 

• If both percentages are available, the higher one will be considered. 

1. Category A3 (20% Scholarship): 

• Obtain (≥70% - <80%) marks in the last qualifying exam (aggregate or best five core subjects) OR excel in exams like JEE, CUET, CLAT, UCEED, NIFT, LSAT, or other All India Level UG/PG exams. 

• If both percentages are available, the higher one will be considered. 

1. Category A4 (15% Scholarship): 

• Score (≥60% - <70%) marks in the last qualifying exam (aggregate or best five core subjects) OR perform well in exams like JEE, CUET, CLAT, UCEED, NIFT, LSAT, or other All India Level UG/PG exams. 

• If both percentages are available, the higher one will be considered. 

Additional Notes: 

• The scholarship applies to the 1st-year tuition fee only. 

• MUCET (Mody University Common Entrance Test), interviews, or other All India tests are mandatory for scholarship eligibility where applicable. 
  • To retain the scholarship, students are expected to sustain a minimum CGPA of 8.0 annually, ensuring they have no backlogs in any courses, with the exception of MBA candidates

• Indiscipline matters may lead to scholarship withdrawal. 

• Scholarship reinstatement is possible if eligibility criteria are met in subsequent years. 

• Required documents must be submitted during the application process. 

• The scholarship does not apply to PhD, MTech., certification, diploma programs, MACS, or pharmacy programs. 

• Fees must be submitted before the specified deadline to avail the scholarship. 

Special Scholarship (For Entire Duration of the Program): 

• Sibling Scholarship: 10% fee waiver for the 2nd, 3rd, or more children. 

• Children of Defense Personnel / Paramilitary / Police (Serving or Retired): 35% tuition fee waiver. 

• Children of Martyrs (Rajasthan) - Defense Personnel: 50% tuition fee waiver. 

Annexure A (SOB-MBA): 

1. Category A1 (50% Scholarship): 

• Achieve ≥90% marks in the last qualifying exam (aggregate or best five core marks) OR score well in CAT, XAT, NMAT. 

• If both percentages are available, the higher one will be considered. 

1. Category A2 (35% Scholarship): 

• Attain ≥80% marks in the last qualifying exam (aggregate marks or best five core marks) OR score well in CAT, XAT, NMAT. 

• If both percentages are available, the higher one will be considered. 

1. Category A3 (25% Scholarship): 

• Obtain ≥70% marks in the last qualifying exam (aggregate marks) OR score well in CAT, XAT, NMAT. 

• If both percentages are available, the higher one will be considered. 

Note for Continuation of Tuition Fees Waiver/Scholarships in 2nd Year: 

• No backlog, no disciplinary action, and a CGPA of 7.0 based on the average of preceding years are required for scholarship continuation.
