All candidates are to apply in the prescribed format of the University along with a processing fee of INR 1,580 with relevant documents. All admissions for the academic session 2024-2025 shall be based on the merit of marks obtained by the student in the last educational qualification.

Sardar Bhagwan Singh University is a Sikh Minority University, wherein 50% seats are reserved for Sikh students as per policies in vogue. However, admissions are open to students of general and all other categories, irrespective of religion, caste or creed.

Merit Scholarship

Students seeking admission to UG programs who score 65% or more in the 10+2 examinations are awarded a merit grant worth INR 2500 every semester, while those who score 75% or higher are awarded INR 5000 per semester.

Additionally, fee reductions are given based on passing scores on qualifying exams.

Scholarship for Sikh Minority Students: 

Sikh Minority students are eligible for 5% of free seats, which entails a 100% waiver of tuition fees, in all courses. Affidavits must be submitted by students in accordance with the format specified by the institution and approved by the Gurdwara Management Committee in their community.
