Hostel - 2025 (Uttaranchal University, Dehradun)

Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, provides comprehensive on-campus hostel facilities for boys and girls in a safe and comfortable living atmosphere. The hostels offer varied rooms, namely single, double, triple, and four beds, each of which is equipped with basic facilities like beds, mattresses, study tables, chairs, cupboards, and curtains. The rooms are planned in a way that encourages a study-friendly environment as well as well-being of individuals. Strict discipline is followed by the university in the matter of student behavior and hostel life, including regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and the absence of unauthorized material. The hostel charges are to be paid through demand draft or cash, with the demand draft drawn in favor of the Sushila Devi Centre for Professional Studies and Research, payable at Dehradun. Once paid, the fees are non-refundable.

 

Apart from accommodation, hostels provide several facilities to improve student life. These range from 24/7 Wi-Fi access so students can access online material without interruption to laundry services, where clothes are collected twice a week for washing. There is first-aid facility and an ambulance service available round the clock to handle medical emergencies.
