Established in 1964 as an autonomous non-profit entity, the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) unveiled its flagship endeavor, the two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), in 1995. Since then, it has diversified its offerings to include specialized PGDM programs in Marketing, Banking Insurance, and Financial Services, International Business, and Human Resource Management. Complementing these, IPE provides a part-time PGDM (Evening) and a doctoral degree program in Social Sciences, all of which hold equivalence to an MBA as per the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) standards.
