Introduction:

The PGDM and Ph.D. programs offered by XIME Bangalore, founded in 1991, are its most renowned offerings. The full-time residential PGDM program offered by XIME Bangalore has received AICTE approval. Students who wish to be admitted must take one of the national entrance exams, such as (GMAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, and ATMA). Academics:

The minimal requirement for admission into the two-year, full-time, residential postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) program at XIME is a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum average of 50% (45 percent for SC/ST candidates).

Applicants taking their final year exams or waiting for their final results must take the XLRI, Jamshedpur (XAT) admission test, or the Common Admission Test (CAT), offered jointly by the seven Indian Institutes of Management. A group discussion and personal interview are scheduled for students who perform well on the entrance exam—tuition: Rs.1.6 lakh for the first year; Rs.1.9 lakh for the second year. Campus:

In addition to having state-of-the-art facilities, a beautiful campus, and a versatile and diversified talent pool, XIME is central to Bangalore’s IT industry. The campus has a sound library, gym, canteen, and games facilities. It is also fully residential and has a Wi-Fi connection. The campus facilities include a 300-seat auditorium, an executive conference room, and 14 classrooms with seating sizes ranging from 40 to 150. With 120 Computers, the computer lab also boasts a cutting-edge video conferencing setup. Audiovisual equipment is available in every classroom. Around 18,000 volumes and periodicals covering all topics relevant to the institution’s teaching and research objectives can be found at the XIME library, which is situated on the main campus.

Accommodation:

Teresa Hall, the women’s dorm, is on the main campus. The institute’s expanded campus is where the men’s hostel is situated. Roughly 125 ladies and 150 males can stay in the hostels. Each room has ample space, good lighting, and standard furnishings, including beds, closets, alcoves, and water heaters.

 

Placement:

Course and Fees:

1. PGDM – 12 Lakhs

Requirement of 50% overall on a bachelor’s degree. Applicants in their final year of school may also apply for this position.

A bachelor’s degree with at least 50% overall or an engineering degree with at least 50% overall and math as a graduation requirement

3. Ph.D. – NA

Master’s degree with at least a 50% overall average, a 50% integrated master’s degree, or equivalent CSIR (JRF) Fellowships, Government- or Aided-College Teachers, and UGC Fellowships Eligible.

Duration: 5 years

Admission Criteria: Passing the Mysore University entrance test with a minimum score of 55%, plus PI and any relevant professional experience.

 

Scholarships:

To deserving students, XIME offers a variety of scholarships. Typically, the scholarship is worth between INR 1 and INR 2 lakh. The scholarships available could vary. Throughout the year, further scholarships are awarded. Typically, the scholarships are awarded at each college’s Independence Day or Republic Day events.
