35 years ago, in 1983, the Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research, and Entrepreneurship Education (SIMSREE) was established. It is located in Churchgate and is one of India’s most famous institutes of management. For PGDBM and MMS, which are its full-time services, the institute was rated A++ at the national level by CRISIL. At the institute, part-time courses are also offered-MMM, and MFM.

SIMSREE Achievements and Facilities :
Library: It has over 12,000 books, and 400 foreign and 32 national journals in a rich collection. The students have a total of 96 printed journals and 33,000 + digital journals.
Classrooms: All classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned to provide the learning and teaching process with a perfect ambiance.
Laboratories: A data laboratory with a total of 38 devices is available for the students’ practical sessions.

SIMSREE Admission :
The admission process at SIMSREE complies with the rules laid down by the Directorate of Technical Education, the Government of Maharashtra and the ‘Centralized Admission Process (CAP) selects the students.
- Candidates must choose SIMSREE as the choice of institution and the choice of path.
- According to the CAP merit list, DTE will issue provisional allocations
- Applicants must report to the admission reporting center for selection and confirm their seat at SIMSREE by paying the first installment of the admission fee.
Admission for MMS & PGDBM :
SIMSREE offers full-time admission to MMS and PGDBM courses and applications are also valid for final-year students. MMS is affiliated with the University of Mumbai, while PGDBM is an independent program offered by the Maharashtra government and is offered exclusively by SIMSREE.
The final option for both courses is based on the MAH CET or CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / ATMAT ranking.
Admission for MMS :

Admission for MFM & MMM :
At SIMSREE, MFM and MMM are offered in part-time mode and the length of these programs is three years. Apart from academic credentials, applicants need to have at least 2 years of work experience.
Eligibility :
- Candidates need to complete graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
Admission for Ph.D.:
SIMSREE offers a Ph.D. program in several management streams. Candidates with JRF and PET approval are also required to apply. The final selection is based on PI performance.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidates need to have an MBA/MMS or an equivalent with 55% aggregate for open category and 50% aggregate for reserved category candidates.

Application process :
Admission into various courses at SIMSREE can be done by filling up the application forms that are available online as well as offline mode. The college changes a minimal amount as the application fee.
Steps for Online application :
- Visit the official website and create a login ID by filling in the mandatory information in the admission tab.
- Fill out the application form with all the required educational and personal details and upload scanned copies of the required documents.
- This is followed by paying the application fee via debit card/credit card/net banking or any other payment methods available.
- This is followed by submitting the application form.
Steps for offline application :
- For applying offline, the candidate needs to visit the college Admission Counsellor to fill out the form, submit original documents, and pay the fee.

For full-time programs, students who want to obtain admission to SIMSREE must pay Rs 67,000/- annually. It is also appropriate to pay an additional library fee of Rs 2000/-, which is refundable.

SIMSREE Cut-off :
Candidates are given admission to various UG & PG courses offered at the SIMSREE on the basis of the cut-offs of the respective entrance tests or merit required for qualification.
Cut-offs are released professionally by the college authority category-wise.
The reservation criteria issued by the Government of India and the state are also kept in mind. Other factors include :

- The total seats available
- The previous year’s cutoffs.
The candidates that meet the criteria are only preferred for admission.
