About N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research
Founded in 1995, the N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research (NLDIMSR) of the Late Shri Niranjanlalji Dalmia, is a business institution located in Mumbai. NLDIMSR is accredited by ISO 9001:2015. In 1997, NLDIMSR started its Master’s in Management Studies (MMS) and Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDM) academic program. NLDIMSR is a member of the All India Management Association (AIMA) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business ( AACSB).
The Institute currently offers PG, PG, Finance, Communications, Human Resources, and Business Systems doctoral programs. It also provides four short programs that are accredited.
The NLDIMSR application process is online and starts every year in January. The faculty members are well-experienced in their respective fields, holding Ph.D. degrees.
The first few and very few financial labs in India were set up by NLDIMSR in Bloomberg Labs, Mumbai. There is a fully digitalized library with 35,000 plus books, leading magazines, newspapers, newspapers, and CD ROM at the N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research. There are also databases and software such as EBSCO, Capitaline, Libsuite, and JGate in the campus library. With their assigned credentials, students can easily access the app.

NLDIMSR Admission
The Institute offers different streams of PG, PG Diploma, and doctoral programs. In January each year, candidates can register for the application process. Highlights of the N L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research admission process are listed below:
Admission to PGDM is provided between CAT / XAT / MAT / CMAT / ATMA / MAHCET based on a valid score. Three specialization divisions have a total of 120 seats, of which 60 are for banking, 40 for marketing, and 20 for human resources.
Candidates seeking admission to the Global MBA and PG Certificate Program must be certified by the institute and obtain the appropriate NLD-SAT ranking.
Based on the PET ranking, admission to the Ph.D. program is provided
Candidates must appear at the Institute’s level for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). The final selection is based on the candidate’s overall profile.
The N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research (N. L. Dalmia), Mumbai, was founded in 1995 as a business institution and began its academic career in 1997. It is known that N. L. Dalmia opened India’s first Bloomberg Lab in Mumbai. The courses offered by the school are both part-time and full-time.
N. L. Dalmia is going to perform an ‘Online Screening Process’ for its applicants via a ‘live video call’ due to COVID-19. The assessment will be based on several criteria and their weighting. Applicants must complete the online application form available on the Institute’s official website and select the date and time slot on the website to be announced on 15 April 2020 at 5 pm.

Personal Interview online (PI)
- Google Duo or Zoom must be downloaded to their mobile / PC / laptop by applicants. They should be ready 15 minutes before the scheduled time for the online Personal Interview (PI) day. A smartphone/laptop / PC with an integrated camera and the internet with proper connectivity is necessary.
- Online interviews can only be taken from the Institute by panelists. While candidates can be accessed anywhere in a noise-free environment (preferably at home),
Online General Debate (GD)
- The General Discussion (GD) will be conducted during the preferred time slot via a separate live video call on the same day.
- Applicants will be given a subject on situational analysis / caselets / current issues and will be asked for five minutes to express their views on the topic.
Application process :
Applicants for UG and PG courses must register with the university portal.
- Applicants must download an online application form and fill in the information for admission to Ph.D. courses and then send it to the college authorities.
- To go ahead with the admission process, an INR 3000 application fee needs to be charged.
Admission into various courses at N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research can be done by filling up the application forms that are available online as well as offline mode. The college changes a minimal amount as the application fee.
Steps for Online application :
- Visit the official website and create a login ID by filling in the mandatory information in the admission tab.
- Fill out the application form with all the required educational and personal details and upload scanned copies of the required documents.
- This is followed by paying the application fee via debit card/credit card/net banking or any other payment methods available.
- The candidate must take a printout of the form and payment receipt and is required to report to the college within ten days and submit original documents along with the admission letter.
Steps for offline application :
- The candidate must register on the official website of the college.
- After this, the candidate needs to visit the college Admission Counsellor to fill out the form, submit original documents, and pay the fee.
NLDIMSR Courses
The weighting given to the entrance examination score is 40 percent, PI is 25 percent, GD is 10 percent, 15 percent of past academic records, 5 percent of work experience, and 5 percent of extracurricular activities for PGDM, Global MBA, and PG certificate program entry.
The Institute offers nine courses in three areas: Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources. The Institute offers a two-year PG diploma in finance Marketing and Human Resources. The Ph.D. period is for a minimum of three years and a maximum of six years. Four certified short programs, called the Credit Analysis Analyst Program, Bloomberg Market Concepts, Investment & Fund Manager, and Blockchain Analyst, are also provided by the Institute. These brief certificate courses allow students to acquire knowledge of the sectoral fieldwork system.

NLDIMSR Scholarship
The Global MBA Students scholarship is offered by the N L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Science. By meeting the qualifying requirements of a minimum GPA of 3.0 and above 4.0, students can secure an international student scholarship.
NLDIMSR Cut-off:
Candidates are given admission to various UG & PG courses offered at the N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research based on the cut-offs of the respective entrance tests or merit required for qualification.
- Cut-offs are released professionally by the college authority category-wise.
- The reservation criteria issued by the Government of India and the state are also kept in mind. Other factors include :
- The total number of applicants applying
- The total seats available
- The previous year’s cutoffs.
- The candidates that meet the criteria are only preferred for admission.
- Admissions for most of the programs are done based on merit, but for courses, namely :
- For MBA/PGDM, candidates need to score qualifying marks in the CAT exam.
- Admission to other courses may be done based on merit.
