NHCE or the New Horizon College of Engineering is an autonomous college for Engineering programs, situated in the state of Karnataka. It is an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & University Grants Commission (UGC) approved University and is affiliated by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
NHCE Bangalore was established in 2001. It offers Engineering courses in undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D., and abroad programs. It is known for its commitment to achieving 100% admissions in all its courses and providing 100% placement assistance to its students.
NHCE holds a NAAC ‘A’ certification & is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Known for its quality education, it has been ranked 6 among the Top Engineering Colleges in Bangalore as per NIRF Ranking 2020, announced by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

NHCE Bangalore holds a never-ending list of accreditations and awards. As of 2019, it is considered as the best Engineering college of Karnataka and one of the few bests in India.
In 2023-24 & 2025 :
- During the 13th ASSOCHAM Conclave held on 25 – 26 February 2023 at New Delhi, NHCE Bangalore was honored with the distinguished “Excellence in Providing a Preferred Environment for Campus Placements” award.

NHCE Bangalore Placements 2023 :
The NHCE Bangalore campus is spread over an area of about 11 acres and is situated in the Bangalore’s IT sector. The college is surrounded by several MNCs and IT firms.
NHCE Bangalore trains its students actively to fulfill its 100% placement commitment every year at large conglomerates in varied sectors and industries. This is ensured by a uniquely designed and structured program called ‘The campus recruitment training (CRT)’ program.
- The highest package went up to Rs 30 LPA in the placements of the 2019 batch.
- In addition to the domestic placements, the institute has a record of international placements as well wherein Japanese companies like Zenken, IBJ, Ambition Corporation, Temairazu hired the students in the year 2013.

NHCE Bangalore Admission process 2024 :
Admission to NHCE Bangalore can be done in both online and offline mode. Candidates aspiring admission can apply online on the official website of the college or offline by visiting college campuses.
The college offers various BE, M.Tech, MBA, and MCA programs at UG and PG levels respectively. The New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE) also provides Ph.D. and M.Sc. (Engg.) research at the doctoral level in various specializations.
Admission to BE & BTech :
- Counseling based on rank obtained in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA)
- Common Entrance Test conducted by Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association (KRLMPCA).

Eligibility :
- 10 + 2 with Physics & Mathematics as obligatory subjects from a recognized board of 45 percent (40 percent for designated categories) and each of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Electronics.
Admission to MTech and MCA :
- Based on scores obtained in the Karnataka PGCET.
- Applicants with a valid GATE score are also eligible to apply for MTech programs.
- KMAT eligible candidates can apply for MCA, too.
Eligibility for MTech :
- B.Tech with 50 percent marks in aggregate in the relevant discipline.
Eligibility for MCA :
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution with 50 percent scores in total (45 percent for allocated categories). Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Programming/ Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Business Mathematics or Business Statistics must be learned by students at degree level.
Admission to MBA :
Eligibility for MBA :
- A degree with an aggregate of 50 percent marks (45 percent for reserved categories) from a recognized university
Admission to Ph.D./ MSc research :
- VTU selection process including Research Aptitude Test [Entrance Examination] followed by an interview.
Eligibility for Ph.D.:
- Tech or M.Sc degree with 55 percent marks in total from a recognized institution in the relevant discipline.
Eligibility for MSc research :
- Master’s Degree in relevant discipline

NHCE Bangalore Application process 2024 :

The application process for the admission in NHCE Bangalore is done through online as well as offline mode.
Application in the online mode has to be followed by submission through post or in person at the college address. Students can take help of the following steps to fill the form :
- Visit the official website of NHCE www.newhorizonindia.edu.
- Click on the preferred course under the ‘Admission’
- Click on the path ‘E-Application’ and complete the application form.
- Take a print out of the application form and send it to the college address given below along with the photocopies of the documents.
