N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research (NLDIMSR) was established in 1995 and commenced its academic journey in July 1997. Located on Mira Road, Mumbai, Maharashtra, the Institute was founded by Late Shri Niranjanlalji Dalmia to make a world-class management institute where students would get the best possible learning experience.

N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research is accredited by NBA, approved by AIU AICTE, and graded as A by NAAC. The Institute is affiliated with the University of Mumbai.

N.L. This is a 35-hour learning course that includes a visual introduction to the financial markets. This course gives students financial experience by presenting introductory material with definite objectives that bring the marketplace into the classroom, and technical analyses and other examples from the real world are a complement to the curriculum. Students can also access international markets with peer-based Education by working directly on a Bloomberg terminal.

A Bloomberg Market Concept Certificate is also given to students after completion.

Admission Criteria:

Students can get admission to the Institute after qualifying for the entrance exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MHCET, MAT, ATMA, etc. Applicants for the Institute must meet the requirements for each course’s eligibility. The application form can be found on the Institute’s website, and the application procedure is entirely online. According to the requirements, the selection criteria for each course differ from one another.

The application price is INR 2,000 for a single specialty, INR 3,000 for two things, and INR 4,000 for all three (for all three specializations).

Admission to the PGDM program is granted based on a passing score in the following exams: CAT, XAT, CMAT, MH-CET, GMAT, MAT, or ATMA.

The PET score determines eligibility for admission to the Ph.D. program.

The Institute-level group discussion and personal interview are required of the candidates. The ultimate decision is made based on the candidate’s general profile.

The examination is comprehensive and focused on more than just test results. The following criteria would be used to evaluate the applicant:

The score on the entrance exam may be one of the seven aptitude tests (CAT, XAT, CMAT, MH-CET, GMAT, MAT, ATMA). If available, you can post the results for more than one. Other factors influencing the selection process are Past Academic records, Work experience, and Extracurricular activities.

Eligibility:

For P.G. courses, students need to have more than 50% in their Bachelor’s degree, and For Ph.D. in Management studies, students with more than 55% marks in their Master’s degree are eligible to apply for the course.

Scholarship:

Institute offers scholarships to students based on merit. Students with a CAT Percentile above 98 or 99% of CMAT or MH-CET Percentile of 99.5 get 75% of the scholarship. The percentage of scholarships decreases as the percentile of marks decreases.

Resources:

The NLDIMSR Library is well-equipped to support Teaching, Learning, and Research activities as a Learning Resource Center (LRC). The Institute’s modern library has 200 seats and is located over 444 square meters on two campus levels, and is tastefully equipped. It is centrally air-conditioned. The NLDIMSR Library has an extensive collection of books, journals, magazines, and other study materials worldwide. The NLDIMSR Library contains more than 55,000 books, the Institute subscribes to more than 60 journals and magazines, and the library has a good selection of A.V. materials.

Quality equipment has been used to construct a modern auditorium. It can serve a wide range of audiences. The Institute boasts the first Bloomberg Financial Lab in Mumbai, which gives students access to a top-notch education program with hands-on training.

The N.L. Dalmia Institute Computer Center has over 120 Lenovo PCs connected to two servers via LAN. N.L Dalmia is one of the few management Institutes owning licensed software in the computer center which contains Microsoft windows 10 and 11, M.S. office products, SPSS, R and Rstudio, and public tableau MSDN Library.
