MP B.E. 2024-25
MP B.E 2024 admission process is conducted every year by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh. The B.E. admission is based on the merit of the candidates in the qualifying examination. The online counselling process is the highlight of MP BE admission. The application process, choice filling, uploading documents, seat allotment, etc. are done through online counselling which makes the process easier.
The commencement of the MP B.E admission process will be informed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh by uploading an information brochure. Candidates should go through all the instructions before applying for the MP B.E. admission process. MP B.E admission process will start after the declaration of the 12th class exam results and entrance exam results.
MP B.E. 2024 Admission Process Important Dates
MP B.E admission process online counselling will start soon after the result of JEE Main is published. There will be two MP BE rounds of online counselling. Since the official dates are not available yet tentative schedule is given below. Candidates can check them and understand the MP BE scheme.

Note: Candidates who got allotted seats in the MP B.E counselling process will have to report to the institute immediately for document verification.

After these two rounds of counselling institutions, wise counselling will start.
MP B.E. Admission Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for B.E admission which is given below.
| Domicile rule | Candidates applying for MP BE admission in Madhya Pradesh must note that 90% of seats in B.E colleges across the state are reserved for Madhya Pradesh domicile/ resident students. MP domicile candidatesmuskangupta@1707@ will be considered for the Tuition Fee Waiver scheme. |
| Entrance exam | The candidates must have a valid JEE Main score (non-zero positive score) to be eligible for the admission process and candidates without JEE Main score can also apply for MP B.E admission, 12th class merit of the candidates will be considered while preparing the merit list at that situation. |
| Academic qualification | Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (12th class) with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science as the main subjects.
For the general category, there should be 45% marks in the 12th class, and that for the reserved category is 40%. |
MP B.E. 2024 Admission and Selection Procedure
Different stages are involved in the selection procedure. Admission is completely based on merit. So a merit list/rank list has to be prepared and the cut-off ranks (opening and closing ranks) for various branches have to be announced on the official website https://dte.mponline.gov.in/.
MP B.E admission process is mainly divided into two categories; through JEE Main and 12th class merit.
MP B.E. Admission Procedure Through JEE Main
JEE Main score is the main factor for the Madhya Pradesh B.E admission. Directorate of Technical Education Madhya Pradesh will publish a separate merit list of the candidates who have applied for B.E admission with a valid JEE Main score on the official website. The common merit list of the MP BE Exam will have the name of the candidate, category, order of merit, and JEE Main rank. Candidates who get featured in the common merit list will be considered for the allotment seats.
MP B.E. Admission Procedure Through 12th Class Merit
Candidates who do not have a valid JEE Main score can also apply for B.E. admission in Madhya Pradesh through 12th class merit. Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh will release a separate merit list for 12th class pass-outs, and all the students who get featured in the merit list will be considered for seat allotment subject to the availability of seats in the specific colleges and courses.
Only the candidates who participate in MP B.E. Exam attend the online counselling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, M B.E. admissions will be considered for the admission process.
MP B.E. 2024 Admission Reservation
The reservation policy of the state government is followed in MP B.E. 2020 admission by the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh.

The Madhya Pradesh president students category is further divided into General, OBC, SC, and ST. Each category will get equal representation in the admission process. This cast-wise reservation is only applicable for Madhya Pradesh president students.
