About Graphic Era University  – 

The Graphic Era Educational Society (GEES), a non-profit organisation founded in 1993, strives to mobilise top-tier education and produce funds for delivering and sustaining top-notch education for everyone. Every person has the right to live with dignity and respect for themselves in a just and equitable society. The Graphic Era Educational Society first started off as the Graphic Era Institute of Technology, which had the distinction of being the first independently funded engineering school in North India. The Institute was the realisation of Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Ghanshala’s inspiring desire to improve the destiny of thousands of youth by offering a top-notch, all-encompassing professional education. He had imagined a centre for education that would serve the needs of numerous young men and women with academic aspirations, and Graphic Era Institute is the physical manifestation of his vision.

The Institute received the designation of Deemed University in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, as a result of Notification F.9-48/2007-U.3 (A), which was authorized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India on August 14, 2008. Graphite Age AICTE-approved and NAAC Grade A+ accredited, Deemed to be University is a university. The National Board of Accreditation has certified seven of the university’s programmes (NBA). For three years running, it has been ranked among the top 100 institutions in India. By the National Institutions Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of Education, Government of India, it was placed 74th in the University category, 64th in the Engineering category, and 65th in the Management category in 2022.

Graphic Era University Facilities – 

Library :- A central library with 174700+ technical books, periodicals, magazines, and publications from both domestic and international sources, as well as a digital library with more than 1200 journals and a separate lending reference section, book bank, reading room with 300 seats, periodicals, audio-visual materials, reprographic materials, acquisition materials, and technical sections.

Hostel :- A separate computer centre has been established in the girls’ hostel to facilitate late-hour working for girls. The hostels also feature airy, well-furnished rooms, hygienic, delicious, and nourishing food for inmates, and a laundry facility. They can comfortably house over 1500 students and offer 24 hour electricity and water supply.

Labs :- High-tech laboratories are located on the campus of Graphic Era University. The laboratories are outfitted with state-of-the-art tools that let students learn through experimentation.

Sports :- Additionally, Graphic Era University values physical activity equally. There are plenty of sports facilities, including basketball courts, football fields, and cricket fields. Indoor games including Tennis Court, Carrom, and Chess are also available.
