CMR University, Karnataka have reopened registrations for the CMRUAT 2024 entrance test.
Students can register for the CMRUAT 2024 exam up to 48 hours before each examination date.
What is CMRUAT 2024?
Each year CMR University, Karnataka conducts the CMR University Admission Test (CMRUAT) entrance exam. It is an entrance test carried out at the national level for admissions to Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses (B.Tech, MBA and Law).
The registration process is ongoing, and all candidates who are eligible for admission can apply for the entrance test. CMR University will consider application forms of qualifying candidates for the CMRUAT 2024 admission examination. Therefore it is recommended that the eligibility requirements be reviewed before applying for the CMRUAT 2024 entrance test.

Note: The CMRUAT 2024 MBA exam will begin at 10 a.m. and will have a duration of 120 minutes.
Offered Courses
Aspirants seeking admission to MBA must appear for CMRUAT 2024 unless they have appeared for any of the following National Level Entrance Management Tests
- CAT
- MAT
- PGCET
- KMAT
- ATMA
And any other AICTE-approved tests.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are willing to apply for the exam are reviewed before applying.
Academic eligibility for MBA: Applicants must have passed any Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university in all subjects taken together with a minimum of 45 per cent marks for the general category and 40 per cent marks for the SC / ST / PH categories.
Age limit: There is no upper age limit for qualifying for the CMRUAT entrance exam.
Nationality and Domicile: All applicants from Karnataka, non-Karnataka, NRI and foreign students are eligible to apply for the entrance examination for the exam.
Admission Process
The step-by-step admission process for the exam is given below.
Step 1: Fill in the Type of Application
Candidates interested in appearing for CMRUAT must fill out the application form and submit the same before the deadline. Until filling out the application form, applicants must confirm their eligibility. Rs 750, which is payable electronically, is the application fee.
Step 2: CMRUAT 2024 Admit Card Download
Applicants who successfully sign up for the exam will have access to admission cards. The admission cards will be made available online and can be downloaded from the university’s official website by applicants. It is mandatory to carry the admit card into the exam hall.
Step 3: Turn up for CMRUAT 2024
Candidates who have received the admit card are eligible for the CMRUAT 2024 exam. The allocation of test city, centre information and test date will be notified by email & SMS to the applicant. The test is done twice a year, once in June and the other in July.
Step 4: CMRUAT 2024 Result
Candidates appearing for CMRUAT should expect the outcome within one month from the exam date. The authorities will be releasing the result online, and test-takers can verify the same on the website of the University.
Step 5: Counselling
The University will perform the counselling round upon declaration of results. It must be remembered that, along with the necessary paperwork, applicants need to be present in person for the therapy round.

Exam Pattern
Every year the pattern for the exam stays the same. However the overall admission process could have little improvements. Every applicant must know the examination paper pattern before they appear for the same paper. The paper pattern for CMRUAT 2024 is listed below.

Exam Centres
It is performed in India at various test centres. At the reporting time (mentioned on the admission card), candidates must ensure that they enter the examination centre. Applicants who come late will not be permitted to appear for the test. Outstation candidates are advised to find the examination centre a day before exam day to prevent any last-minute trouble. It should be noted that it is not acceptable to bring calculators, pens, slide rules, log tables, electronic watches, bits of paper, smartphones or any other gadget to the exam centre.
Cut Off
The cut-off for CMRUAT 2024 is determined by the university based on the following factors.
- The total number of seats available in all colleges and institutes
- A complete number of candidates who have applied and are eligible for admission to the entrance exam.
- Difficulty levels of question papers for the CMRUAT 2024.
- Cut-off points from the previous year.
- Ticketing scheme.
Result
The examination conducting authority will announce the results of the CMRUAT 2024 exam. Test-takers can expect the results of the exam within a month of the examination date. The results of the exams will be available online on CMR University’s official website.
All candidates must notice that the authority conducting the exam will not explicitly give them any notification or outcome. To review the results of CMRUAT 2024 they must visit the official web portal. Candidates appearing for the entrance test will not be able to check the results online until officials release them. Candidates need to visit the official website of the University and enter their login credentials to access the scorecards.
After the successful declaration of CMRUAT 2024 results, the CMRUAT 2024 merit list of eligible candidates will be released. Based on the list of candidates shortlisted for further admission process, the CMRUAT 2024 merit list is drawn up.
