Chandigarh University 

 Chandigarh University (CU) is situated in Mohali, Punjab, India. The Punjab State Legislature passed legislation on July 10th, 2012, creating the university. The University Grants Commission has granted it recognition under Section 2(f), granting it the authority to award degrees following Section 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956. In 2019, NAAC awarded Chandigarh University an accreditation grade of “A+.”

Chandigarh University is the only state-sponsored private institution in Punjab to receive NAAC certification and the youngest and only private university in India to receive an A+ in the initial round of the accreditation process.
