CENTAC 2024-25
Central Admission Committee, Puducherry is the body behind the conduction of admission for various Undergraduate(UG) Postgraduate(PG) programs. It offers various courses in the field of engineering, pharmacy, medical, etc. in various government institutions of Puducherry.
Seats are allotted based on cut-off and eventually, merit lists declared by CENTAC for various institutions and the respective courses they offer. It prepares merit lists separately for various courses based on candidates’ marks in 10+2 or equivalent examinations. Document verification and seat allocation are done through the centralized counseling process.
Candidates can find and apply the application form online on their official website. Law courses indulge a separate process of admission, hence require submitting a different form. Applicants can apply for more than one course in one application form, except for the Law program.

CENTAC 2024-25 Eligibility criteria:
The eligibility criteria of CENTAC 2024-25 vary from course to course.
The eligibility criteria are specified by several institutes offering admission to various courses through CENTAC 2024. It comprises minimum qualifications that an applicant should possess to be able to apply, age limit, domicile criteria, etc.
- Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to register for CENTAC 2024.
- Age Criteria: The lower age limit for BAMS is 17 Years (as on 1st October 2024).The upper age limit for B.Tech is 21 years (as on 1st July 2024). There are three years of relaxation for SC Candidates.
Qualification Criteria for various courses (detailed) :
For B.Tech Course:
- Qualifying Exam: 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Subjects: 10+2 examination with Physics & Mathematics along with one of the given subjects: Chemistry /Biology /Bio-Technology /Computer Science.
- Minimum Marks: Minimum 45% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category).
- Attempts: For SC, three attempts application & for other, only two attempts.

CENTAC 2024-25 Application form and process:
After a complete delay and extension due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the application form of CENTAC 2024 has been finally released on July 22, 2024, for UG programs. The last date for submission of which is August 05, 2024. Forms can be submitted in online mode only.
Candidates can follow the below steps to register themselves for the exam:
- Visit the CENTAC website https://www.centaconline.in/ to discover the application form.
- Enter name, date of birth, and mobile number/email id to get the user id and password, then log in for the application form using the same id and password.
- Provide the personal and educational details as required in the application form, upload photographs in the required format. Sign the declaration and submit the form.
- After the submission of the form, candidates are required to pay the registration fee through an online payment. Payment can be done through debit cards, credit cards, and net banking.

CENTAC 2024 Cut off :
CENTAC 2024 cutoff is the minimum mark an applicant needs to obtain to be eligible for admission to several undergraduate programs.
It’s cut off will vary from college to college.
The cut-off will also depend on the course and the category of the students who have been shortlisted based on CENTAC ranks.

CENTAC 2024-25 Results :
CENTAC results are a combined process of release of merit lists followed by counseling.
CENTAC 2024-25 Merit list:
The merit list consists of the names of selected candidates for the next round that is counseling. It is published through the website of the three universities.
Candidates can download the merit list with the help of the following steps :
- Open the website and click on the link that reads CENTAC 2024 Results
- Enter the registered enrollment number in the window that appears
- Press submit, the result will be displayed.
The Result window shows the cut off marks and call letter.
CENTAC Counselling 2024
Aspirants that qualify the exam, meet the cut off marks CENTAC 2024 can find their names in the merit list released by the committee on its official website. Merit List is prepared to rank wise based on the marks scored.
Candidates will be called for counseling in order of their ranks and seat allotment based on the Merit List. Separate counseling letters will be issued.
Candidates will have to check the website regularly for information on the counseling schedule. Counseling is conducted offline, which means the qualified candidates need to appear in person for counseling and will be required to produce the required documents for verification.
