MCAER CET 2024-25
MCAER CET stands for Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level examination conducted by the Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board (MAUEB). It offers admissions into both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) of Maharashtra.
MCAER CET registration started with the release of official notification on April 2024 however the exam date to be notified. The paper consists of 200 objective-type questions with no negative marking. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university to apply.
Admission to different institutes would be based on the merit formulated by considering 70% of the MCAER CET score and 30% of the CGPA of the students.

MCAER CET Exam Pattern
There are ten different exams conducted under MCAER CET 2024. The detailed exam pattern is mentioned below:
- MCAER CET 2024 is an exam of 200 marks.
- The questions will be of objective type.
- Each question carries one mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking, however. More than one answer for a question would be treated as an incorrect answer.
- Candidates have to darken the answer of the respective question number in the OMR sheet with a blue/black ink ballpoint pen only.
- The answer once marked is final; any further change in the option will amount to an invalid/incorrect response.
Scratching, overwriting and multiple answers will be marked as wrong answers and no marks will be given to them.

- Two slots are given for the conduction of exams.
Timings: 10 am – 12 noon
3 pm – 5 pm
- Although it was supposed to be announced soon, MAUEB announced the results a day later, along with the merit lists.
MCAER CET Application procedure
THE MCAER CET 2024 application form will be announced soon. Candidates can check how to fill out the application form here:
- Applicants must have a valid Mobile Number and email ID.
- Before filling out the Online Application Form, candidates must be thorough with the Information Bulletin.
- Candidates must fill in the details carefully. They must upload the scanned photograph and signature (The size of the Photograph and Signature should not exceed 35KB, and 30KB respectively).
- Candidates must be careful with the corrections as there is no provision to make changes in the online Application Form once Submitted.
- The candidates must take a printout of acknowledgement after submitting the Online Application Form. The required fee is printed on the Acknowledgement.
- The fee can be paid through the online payment facility using the links provided a day later on http://www.mcaer.org/.

MCAER CET exam centres
Candidates can choose the exam centres according to their accessibility and reachability while filling up the application form. However, the right to allot exam centres to the candidates is in the hands of the Board. There is no provision for cancellation or changing of exam centres once allotted.

MCAER CET 2024-25 Eligibility:
MCAER CET 2024 eligibility criteria differ for each course.
To be eligible to appear in the MCAER CET exams :
- Candidates must have a minimum score of 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 in their bachelor’s degree if they belong to the open category.
- In the case of reserved categories, the candidates should have secured at least 50% marks or 5.0 CGPA scores on a scale of 10 in aggregate of all subjects. [Schedule Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Vimukta Jati (A) (VJ-a), Nomadic Tribes (B) NT-b), Nomadic Tribes (C) (NT-c), Nomadic Tribes (D) (NT-d), Other backward class (OBC), Special Backward Category (SBC), socially and educationally backward class (SEBC), Economically weaker section(EWS) and Physically Handicapped (PH)]

MCAER CET Exam Results:
MCAER CET 2024 Result will be announced, at the official website. Candidates can check their results by undertaking the following simple steps:
- Visit the MCAER CET 2024 official website.
- Click on MCAER CET 2024 Results.
- Enter the roll number and submit. The result is displayed on the screen.
Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the MCAER CET 2024 and their respective CGPA scores at the bachelor’s level, a merit list will be prepared. Based on these results counseling will be done for seat allotment under several disciplines of UG/PG courses. The counselling process includes document verification, registration, and a choice locking process. The decision of the board would be final in all regards related to seat allotment and admissions.
