All of the university's knowledge endeavors, including teaching, research, and practise, will be profoundly influenced by the concerns of India and Indian knowledge systems. The university will conduct itself in a way that is genuinely international in spirit.

Every student will enjoy the teaching-learning process at Chanakya University thanks to the liberal education model, which allows students to create their degrees based on their academic interests and the freedom to select open electives depending on their enthusiasm.

The University, which is a part of the Aero-Space Industrial Zone and is strategically situated close to the Bengaluru International Airport, is home to over 1000 multinational corporations, including Apple, Rolls Royce, and others. To prepare them for changing careers, this atmosphere will encourage students to network with businesses for a journey of experiential learning through projects, internships, and encounters with business executives. Every student will develop into a transformative leader in their field of study thanks to the value-added professional programs they will integrate into our curriculum.

Over 75 scholarships will be available from Chanakya University based on a variety of programs, including merit, the arts and culture, sports, children from military families, COVID orphans, and more. Academicians, educators, and faculty who are accomplished in their fields will run the university. The university will be led and mentored by prominent industry and academic leaders, with Dr. M.K. Sridhar serving as our Founder Chancellor and Dr. Yashvantha Dongre serving as our first Vice-Chancellor.

Scholarship 

1. For candidates with scores of 95% or higher, scholarships worth 50% for general category candidates and 55% for rural candidates will be awarded.
2. Candidates who receive 90% to 94% of the possible points will receive 30% of the general category scholarships and 35% of the rural area scholarships.
3. Candidates who receive a score of 85% to 89% will receive a scholarship worth 25% for the general category and 30% for girls and rural areas.

Note: 1. Merit scholarships based on performance in previous board or university exams for the general or rural quota (Karnataka state) students or girl students may be decided by the relevant school or department in consultation with the admission committee established by the Vice-Chancellor.

1. The university has the final say on who gets a scholarship. All decisions must be final.

Department 

There are four departments in the university based on the area of study and courses offered:

• School of Commerce and Management
• School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences School of Arts,
• Humanities and Social Sciences
• School of Public Policy and Legal Studies

Courses 

Established in November 2022, Bangalore, Karnataka, is home to Chanakya University. The campus is a beautiful, tidy place with top-notch amenities. The institution was started by M.K. Sridhar, a member of the National Education Policy 2022 Draft Committee, and it is accredited by the UGC and supports the goals of NEP 2020. There are 37 different courses available at the university, including BA, BBA, B.Com, BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Sc., MA, MBA, M.Sc., etc. Additionally, it provides well-liked courses in cutting-edge topics like cyber security, cloud and mobile computing, and data science.

Infrastructure 

Academic excellence is the benchmark for any successful legal professional. In acknowledgment of this claim, the University's Halls of Learning, also known among students as "ACAD BLOCK," offer the necessary facilities and the ideal setting required for top-notch legal education. The Preamble is etched on the gates of the Halls of Learning, serving to subtly remind students of the fundamental principles behind the Indian legal system.

The university's most significant symposiums, seminars, conferences, and lectures have been held in the Conference Hall, which is also home to Moot Court Halls. All classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with projectors, and there are also comfortable faculty offices that are open to students.

Life at the University

Chanakya University honors key domestic and foreign holidays. Additionally, it commemorates several cultural events.

• National holidays, including Indian Republic Day, Independence Day, Constitution Day, etc., are observed on the university's Brigade Orchards Campus.
• The National Education Policy 2022, educational issues, the most recent scientific discoveries, Indian culture, and customs, as well as other topics, are regularly covered in several presentations, lectures, orientation programs, workshops, national and international seminars, and symposiums.
• Festivals like Rasha Bandhan, Gurupurnima, Saraswati Puja, Ganesh Puja, and others are celebrated.
