IMI Delhi, which opened in 1981, was the first business school in the country to be sponsored by a company. The Post Graduate Diploma in Management program at IMI Delhi costs INR 19.25 Lakhs, and you can only get in if you get good scores on the CAT or XAT. There are two sections to the confirmations cycle. In the first stage, candidates are judged on how well they did on entrance exams and how much schooling they have had. People who pass the first stage move on to the next stage, which is a Personal Evaluation process that includes writing an essay and having a personal interview. The CAT cutoff for getting into IMI Delhi has been set at 90%.
