The INI-CET 2024\u00a0admit card will be published by AIIMs on its official website. Registered candidates are then asked to visit <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.aiimsexams.org<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 to download their respective admission cards once they have been released.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The INI-CET has replaced the <strong>AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, <\/strong>and <strong>NIMHANS<\/strong> postgraduate entrance exams. In the computer-based test (CBT) mode, INI-CET 2024 will be conducted on <strong>November 20<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The INI-CET admission card will be released by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, on its official website soon. Registered candidates are therefore requested to keep an eye on www.aiimsexams.org\u00a0 for notification or the INI-CET admission card connection.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>What is INI-CET?\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">INI-CET is a Combined Entrance Examination (CET) at the Institutes of National Importance (INI) for Medical Education, AIIMS-New Delhi, and all-new AIIMS, JIPMER-Puducherry, PGIMER- Chandigarh, NIMHANS-Bengaluru, for admission to postgraduate courses [MD, MS, DM (6 yrs), MCh (6 yrs) and MDS].<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The INI-CET will typically take place twice a year in May for admission to the July session of the same year and in November for admission beginning in January of the following year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">INI-CET will be governed by AIIMS, New Delhi, and will be the sole authority for the review, declaration of results, and assignment of seats. The management of the INI-CET will be <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">using its dedicated site in an online mode and almost without paper.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The INI-CET session for January 2024 will take place in November 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Based on the candidate&#8217;s performance in the exam, a score will be produced for all <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Student categories and published as an INI-CET score on the website. Candidates seeking registration must visit the online portal at <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aiimsexams.ac.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aiimsexams<\/a>.org<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to know the complete details regarding the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application process involves 3 basic steps, as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Basic Registration<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Generation of Registration Unique Code (RUC)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Final Registration for INI-CET<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.careermantra.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/ini-cet-3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6668\" src=\"http:\/\/www.careermantra.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/ini-cet-3-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"INI-CET Application Process\" width=\"799\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>Basic Registration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a one-time procedure for students to take part in postgraduate courses. It consists of the initial registration of the applicant with the IT system for registration ID and password generation. The applicant is then required to complete the simple registration with the requisite personal data and to upload the images (photo, sign, the impression of the left thumb). Basic registration (information) is approved or refused based on the quality and format of the images submitted by the applicants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the <\/span><b>Generation of the Registration Unique Code (RUC)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an agreed standard registration (basic details including photographic images, signature, and thumb impression) is a prerequisite. A code to indicate the applicant&#8217;s wish to apply for INI-CET, in Jan 2024, must be produced. The code is unique to each examination instance and is required for INI-CET, January 2024, to be created anew. The same cannot be used for INI-CET if the applicant has previously produced a code for earlier examinations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Accepted basic registration (basic details including photographic images, signature, and thumb impression) is a prerequisite for code generation and INI-CET implementation, in Jan 2024. Once a code has been created for INI-CET, Jan 2024, the applicant is expected to proceed to the <\/span><b>Final Registration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> page to apply for INI-CET, Jan 2024. To be able to log in to complete the application form, a valid registration ID, password, and code (RUC) is required for INI-CET, Jan 2024. The mere fact that an Admission Card to the Examination has been given to an applicant will not mean that his\/her application has finally been cleared or that entries made by the nominee have been accepted as valid and accurate in his\/her application for INI-CET, Jan 2024. This will be subject to verification of all the eligibility criteria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Applicants should also notice that at the time of reporting\/joining the assigned INIs, physical verification of an applicant&#8217;s eligibility requirements, concerning original records, will be carried out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Candidatures are provisional and open to verification at all times.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>Mode and Scheme of Examination<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Jan 2024 INI-CET analysis will be performed in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The test period consists of 3 hours (180 minutes) consisting of 200 objective types of questions of different kinds (including single correct choice and multiple correct choices).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">INI-CET percentile scores will be used to determine admission eligibility for postgraduate seats in all participating INIs. For applicants, the minimum percentile cut-off required will be as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 50th percentile would be cut off for unreserved (UR) seats, including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Sponsored\/Deputed\/Foreign Nationals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 45th percentile will be the cut-off for OBC, SC, ST, PwBD, and Bhutanese Nationals (PGI-Chandigarh only) seats.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>Resolution of Tie Cases<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In cases where more than one candidate guarantees equal Points, the tie will be resolved by sequentially applying the following requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0less negative marks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Older by age.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>INI CET Admit card<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The INI-CET Admission Card will only be available online and can be downloaded from the official website using the ID, password, and code used during the final registration process. Applicants must notice that AIIMS, New Delhi, Examination Section does not submit Admission Cards by email or post.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.careermantra.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/ini-cet-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6669\" src=\"http:\/\/www.careermantra.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/ini-cet-1-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"INI-CET Admit Card\" width=\"804\" height=\"453\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The admission card will only be given to applicants who have completed all phases of the INI-CET application form by January 2024. Applicants must download the Admission Card and are expected to review the applicant-related details carefully. If the applicant finds any inconsistencies or mistakes, it must be informed by the Inspection Portion, AIIMS, New Delhi, by email from the registered email ID. The applicants are expected to indicate in the email their registration ID and the assigned roll number.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It should be noted that a candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination without the Admit card.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>INI CET Administration<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Examination Section, AIIMS New Delhi, administers INI-CET in consultation with nodal officers from all INIs. AIIMS, New Delhi is the sole authority for carrying out all aspects of the Combined Entrance Test, such as application, review, declaration of results, and Seat Allocation, as its responsibility is limited solely to those aspects of INI-CET.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Admission to any of the participating INIs shall be regulated, where applicable, by the rules and regulations of the respective Institute and administered by the Head of Institutions of the respective INIs (details are given in Part B of the INI-CET Prospectus, Jan 2024). Part A of eligibility requirements are limited to the implementation and evaluation components of the INI-CET. But eligibility requirements for admission to postgraduate courses in various INIs can differ, and applicants must read in detail Part B of the prospectus for each INI.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.careermantra.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/ini-cet-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6670\" src=\"http:\/\/www.careermantra.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/ini-cet-2-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"INI-CET\" width=\"786\" height=\"443\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h3><b>For Indian National and OCI (Overseas Citizens of India)<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An applicant must have an MBBS degree from a University recognized by the National Medical Commission\/Medical Council of India as notified by the Govt. for MD\/MS\/DM-6yrs\/MCH-6yrs and a BDS degree for MDS courses of India and the Dental Council of India, respectively, and must have completed the prescribed 12-month mandatory rotating internship\/practical training cycle by the dates referred to in the respective Institute&#8217;s INFORMATION BROCHURE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Depending on the fulfillment of the eligibility requirements applicable to the respective INIs, an applicant may be eligible for admission to any INI or only to a certain particular INI.
