In MICAT, all candidates are evaluated as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Section A: Psychometric Research<\/p>\n<p>Section B: Verbal Capacity, Quantitative Capacity and Data Interpreting, General Awareness; Divergent and Convergent Thought<\/p>\n<p>Section C: Descriptive Testing<\/p>\n<p>Step 3: GE &amp; PI: Applicants who qualify for CAT \/ XAT \/ GMAT &amp; MICAT I and II shall appear for both Group Exercise (GE) &amp; Personal Interview (PI) applications.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of the shortlist of GE &amp; PI candidates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Section A of the MICAT, that is. Psychometric evaluation is a qualifying exam.<\/p>\n<p>Those who qualify on the Psychometric, their relative output on the CAT \/ XAT \/ GMAT will be treated as a minimum cut off basis.<\/p>\n<p>Those who satisfy Section A on the basis of CAT \/ XAT \/ GMAT results will be evaluated under Section B of the MICAT.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, candidates who qualify for Section B will be judged for their results in Section C.<\/p>\n<p>Those who clear sections A, B and C will be called to GE \/ PI in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Admission Procedure<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Step 1:\u00a0 MICAT<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must fill out the application form on the official website to apply for MICAT and pay Rs 1965 online as a test fee. After successful registration, applicants will receive their MICA ID and MICA password via email. This MICA ID shall be used for all possible communications and login purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Step 2:\u00a0 Admission Card<\/p>\n<p>Admission cards for MICAT 2024-25 will be given to candidates who have successfully registered for the test. Applicants will be allowed to download their admission cards from the official website.<\/p>\n<p>Step 3: test<\/p>\n<p>MICAT is held twice in a single period of entry. Applicants who clear the Psychometric Test will be tested on the rest of the criteria and the review rounds.<\/p>\n<p>Step 4: Results<\/p>\n<p>The MICAT 2024 result will be published online on the official website. Test users can verify their scores by using their login credentials. The result will be that selected applicants for GE \/ PI will be invited to different MICA campuses.<\/p>\n<p>Step 5: Group Exercise \/ Personal Interview<\/p>\n<p>The shortlist of GE \/ PI candidates will be based on their CAT \/ XAT \/ GMAT score and MICAT I and MICAT II ratings.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u00a0MICAT 2024 Exam Centres<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>MICAT 2024 is being conducted in nearly 50 cities across India. The question paper consists of approximately 94-105 questions to be answered within 2.5 hours. The format of the questions in MICAT is both objective and descriptive. Learn more about the test pattern below:<\/p>\n<p>The Question Paper shall be divided into three sections:<\/p>\n<h4>Section A:<\/h4>\n<p>Psychometric Research (36 questions)<\/p>\n<h4>Section B:<\/h4>\n<p>Verbal Ability (25 questions), Quantitative Ability(25 questions), General Knowledge (24) and Diversity-Convergent Reasoning (30)<\/p>\n<h4>Section C:<\/h4>\n<p>Descriptive Testing (4)<\/p>\n<p>Note: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answers and -0.25 mark will be deducted for in correct answers.<\/p>\n<h3><em>Some key points;<\/em><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Section A (Psychometric Test) is a qualifying test. Since MICAT is being conducted for admission to the advanced programme, i.e. PGDM in Correspondence, Syllabus and MICAT test trends vary from other MBA entrance exams. Apart from Verbal Skill, Quantitative Skill, General Knowledge and Reasoning, the MICAT exam involves Psychometric Testing and Descriptive Testing. Below is the syllabus for all three parts of the exam<\/p>\n<p>Section A: Psychometric Research<\/p>\n<p>Psychometric testing is the first part of the query report.
