R. Ambedkar<\/strong>, People&#8217;s Education Society University (PESU), Ring Road Campus was earlier known as the PES Institute of Technology (PESIT), which is one of three <strong>private<\/strong> universities under the name PES University in Bengaluru, India. With the motto &#8216; Perseverance, Excellence, Service&#8217; it is focused on five main educational areas: <strong>Engineering, Medicine, Management, Law, and Life Sciences<\/strong>. The institutions offer both <strong>foundations<\/strong> as well as <strong>specialization<\/strong> courses in these fields, with a Bachelors&#8217;s, Master or Ph.D. degree.<\/p>\n<p>PES University currently manages over <strong>45 educational programs<\/strong> in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, with a sum of over <strong>15000 students.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The private University comprises four campuses, namely the PESU RR Campus, PESU EC Campus, PESU HN Campus, and PES Medical Campus that offer various UG and PG courses like <strong>BA LLB, MBA, BCom, BTech, MTech, MBBS, MD, and BArch <\/strong>with many other.<\/p>\n<p>Official Website: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pes.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.pes.edu<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong><u>PES University Admission 2024 :<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>40%<\/strong> of the students at PES University are given admissions in the <strong>undergraduate<\/strong> courses based on their <strong>Karnataka CET<\/strong> and <strong>60% <\/strong>seats based on<strong> PESSAT (the university&#8217;s entrance test)<\/strong> ranks. PESU \u00a0admitted candidates under the <strong>Mgt quota<\/strong>, which does not place any merit requirements. Students holding <strong>diploma degrees<\/strong> can <strong>directly<\/strong> enter the second year of study in engineering by the <strong>lateral entry scheme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Preparation of the merit list<\/strong>: The university considers the aggregate obtained by a candidate in their previous qualifying examination and PESSAT score. A credit-based system of performance evaluation is followed.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students are usually marked from a total mark of 100. Talking about grades, the grading is done out of 10.<\/li>\n<li>Students are graded by taking an average of all the subject grades with their respective credit points, after the end of each semester.
