This is really good for your career, at Delhi NCR.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Real 2026 Placement Numbers That&#8217;ll Inspire You<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let us talk about numbers because that is what really matters.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IIT Delhi: Out of 986 BTech students 828 students got placed. That is an 82.7 percent placement rate with a salary of Indian Rupees 25.9 LPA. Some IIT Delhi students got placed at Rupees 4.3 Crore. Though that is rare those are the IIT Delhi students.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NIT Delhi: 255 out of 314 eligible NIT Delhi students got placed in 2026. The average salary was Indian Rupees 17.19 LPA. NIT Delhi CSE students had the success rate at 100 percent placement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DTU Delhi: Over 90 percent placement rate with salaries averaging between Rupees 15-16 LPA. The placements at Private Universities are decent. Not as aggressive as government colleges, like IIT Delhi and NIT Delhi and DTU Delhi.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Should You Aim for Government or Private College?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our honest opinion is that if you can get into a government college, IIT Delhi, DTU, NSUT or IIIT Delhi you should take it. The government colleges like IIT Delhi, DTU, NSUT or IIIT Delhi offer a deal because they have low fees, high salaries and a good brand value that is hard to beat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you do not do well in the JEE exam do not be upset. You can still consider colleges like Amity, JIIT or Sharda University. The education you get at colleges like Amity, JIIT or Sharda University is good and companies do come to hire students so you will have a good career it is just that your salary might be a little lower on average.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What really matters is that you study engineering and put in a lot of effort. The name of your college like IIT Delhi, DTU, NSUT or IIIT Delhi is important. What matters more is how hard you work and what skills you have. Engineering from a government college like IIT Delhi, DTU, NSUT or IIIT Delhi or a private college, like Amity, JIIT or Sharda University can give you a career if you work hard.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Scholarships \u2013 Yes, They&#8217;re Available!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are worried about fees here is some good news. There are scholarships for students like you.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Merit-based scholarships are available: colleges offer these based on your entrance exam score. If you score really high in JEE Main or JEE Advanced you can get a fee waiver of 50 to 100 percent.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Need-based scholarships are also available: if your familys annual income is below INR 1 Lakh, IIT Delhi and NIT Delhi offer 100 percent fee waivers for students who need it.
