In its fifth year of operation, Adamas University, with a 100-acre campus covered in lush greenery and located 13 kilometers from Kolkata’s Subash Chandra Bose International Airport in Barasat, strives to provide West Bengal’s young minds with the best education possible. The Adamas University also has a strong faculty. To support projects, research, and student exchange programs, the Adamas University is involved in several worldwide initiatives that partner with businesses and educational institutions. The campus has over 3500 active students, more than 2000 resident students, and staff personnel. It is in its fifth year. The Adamas University was founded to offer students a top-notch education to help them develop professional and academic proficiency through its 10 Schools of Study.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Adamas University is anticipated to gradually expand to accommodate other areas of study, such as Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Fine & Visual Arts, and many divisions of Medical Sciences while maintaining a flexible, multidisciplinary, and state-of-the-art pedagogy for education.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to West Bengal Act IV of 2014, passed by the West Bengal Legislature and endorsed by the Governor, the Sachis Kiran Roy Memorial Trust (SKRMT) has founded the Adamas University. Via a notification issued by the West Bengal government on April 11, 2014, the terms of The Adamas University Act 2014 went into effect.
