Placement & Rankings<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The cluster’s three placements included companies from eight cohorts (BFSI, Analytics & Consulting, Consumer Tech, Enterprise Tech, Core Manufacturing & Infrastructure, EdTech, Government Enterprise, and Logistics). TCS made the most offers in the Consulting & Analytics cohort, with 15 bids. PGP and FABM placements at IIM Ahmedabad have also been completed for 2023. During the hybrid placement process, 47 students were placed, and they will begin working for the companies from April to June 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

On February 17, 2023, IIM Ahmedabad completed Cluster 2 of the 2023 placement drive. The five cohorts were conglomerates, consumer goods and durables, consumer services, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and retail B2B and B2C. The conglomerate cohort received the most offers, followed by the consumer goods and durables cohort. During Cluster 2, Esaar Group emerged as the top recruiter. Other recruiters who took part included Asian Paints, Wipro, Adani Group, Aditya Birla Group, and others. Cluster 3 will take place on February 20, 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

As of February 15, 2023, the Institute had completed Cluster 1 of the 2023 placement drive. Investment banking and markets, management consulting, niche consulting, cards and financial advisory, private equity, venue capital, and asset management comprised the first cluster’s five cohorts. About 50 recruiters took part in the placement drive’s first day. The top recruiters were consulting firms McKinsey and Boston Consulting Group. McKinsey made 18 job offers.<\/span><\/p>\n

IIM Ahmedabad has completed summer internship placements for the 2022-24 PGP batch. In Phase 1, 60 firms participated. The Boston Consulting Group had the most job offers, with 28. With 23 bids, Bain and Company came in second. Cluster 1 requests from abroad have increased by 50% at IIM Ahmedabad in the last year. Approximately 50 companies participated in Phase 2 of the placement drive, with Adani Group coming out with 16 offers. In Phase 3, 35 companies competed, with TCS coming out with 11 recommendations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, the highest international salary in the 2022 placement drive was INR 1.14 CPA, and the highest domestic salary was INR 75.2 LPA. The average package increased by 21% to INR 36.2 LPA. One hundred twenty-one students participated in the placement drive and received 172 job offers. The IT and healthcare industries received the most offers. This year’s placement process included 20 new recruiters.<\/span><\/p>\n

The NIRF 2022 and IIRF Rankings 2023 ranked the Institute first among government B-schools, and the FT Global MBA Ranking 2023 ranked it 51st. For the second year, the PGPX program ranked first in the FT Global MBA rankings for career progression in 2023. In the Outlook ICare MBA Ranking 2022, IIM Ahmedabad was also ranked first in the management category. The QS World Global Ranking 2022 placed the institute 46th.<\/span><\/p>\n
