Altai State Medical Institute

Altai State Medical Institute was previously known as Altai State Medical University. It was established in 1954. Russia is the location of the university. Barnaul is the administrative centre of Altai Krai and is located along the Ob River in the Western Siberian Plain. The city had a population of around 700,000 people in 2014.

The University’s Academic Staff includes more than 100 doctors and 350 candidates for science, three Corresponding Members of RAMS (ZS Barkagan, VIKiselev, and YNScheu-hat), five Honored Scientists of Russia (ZS Barkagan, VB Gervasi, L. Tarasov, G. Trubnikov, and YN Shoikhet), 25 distinguished physicians from Russia, and ten distinguished workers from the Graduate School.
