JEE MAIN 2023-24
The JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) main is admitted to various Engineering / Technology and Architecture courses of the country’s top colleges through the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students may enroll in the B.E / B.Tech and B.Arch / B.Plan programs that IITs, NITs, publicly sponsored universities, and other private universities have. It was decided from 2014 that JEE Main exam will be held twice a year i.e. candidates can give first attempt in the January session and the second attempt in April session. Candidates may use the highest marks obtained in any JEE Main exam session to obtain admission to their chosen Institute.
About JEE 2024
The test would be suitable to be carried out in the 2nd week in January 2021 and in the 2nd week from April 2021 for candidates wanting to participate in JEE Main 2024. By filling out the online application form, students can request a review. The test should be carried out in electronic format, i.e. a digital review where applicants are offered a computer program, and the responses on their computer screen are to be identified. The maximum time of applicants to complete the exam would be 3 hours.

JEE Main Eligibility
As the Authority is to bar candidates that refuse to fulfill the requirements stated therein, the eligibility standards are relevant for applicants to ensure they follow the criterion that they are qualified to compete in the test. The JEE main examination eligibility criteria are set out below.
Age criteria: There are no age restrictions for the candidates to appear in the JEE Main exam.
Qualifying examination
For engineering and technology: Including physical, mathematical, and chemistry/biotechnology/biology / technical professions as an equal number of candidates should be class XII or grade 12.
For architecture and planning: Candidates will be regarded as mandatory subjects for class 12 or their counterpart of Maths.
Year of appearance in qualifying examination: The entrance examination can be requested by students who have passed their class 12 exams in 2014 and 2024 or have passed the class 12 or the equivalent exam in 2024.
Number of Subjects: At least five subjects in class 12 or their equivalent should have been accepted as eligible for the JEE Main.

JEE Main Application Form
The procedure to apply for it should be known to students planning to appear for the JEE Main Exam in 2024. The application form will only be published on NTA’s official website for the examination. Candidates should then fill out the application form in online mode only, and no other style for the same reason may apply. Students will notice here that only one application form has to be sent, as the authority will deny multiple applications. The material to be filled in would remain accurate to the candidate’s experience and be compatible with the official papers.
For the examination, candidates must register for it by giving an active email identification and a working phone number. The application form contains material such as personal information, academic records, and other related details. For an assessment processing charge, applicants would be expected to pay a specified amount if their applications are not accepted by NTA.

Exam Pattern of JEE main
Knowing the examination pattern helps students understand what to expect from the examination, i.e. the structure of the entire exam. This will help them eventually gain an insight into how to start the examination preparation. Candidates will pass the test pattern as set out below by the authority.

Preparation Tips for JEE Main
- Start the NCERTs first and at least pass during the NCERTs. Only the reference books then proceed.
- Take a regular time to practice papers from the previous year. This will enhance your efficiency and help you learn where improvements are needed.
- Don’t spend time reading papers. Concentrate on a novel at a time instead.
- Candidates frequently neglect to study and their success in the test is influenced. Therefore, candidates will study the topics they learned on a daily basis and hold them in mind for long periods.
- Never take your health lightly and you should eat a well-balanced diet. Skipping meals will not guarantee positive results and would rather take a toll on your mental well being.

JEE Main Admit Card
- A few weeks before the start of the test, it is probable that the JEE Main exam card is issued.
- Candidates can download their official web site hall ticket, i.e. jeemain.nic.in.
- Candidates should take an admission card printer for further use and keep it safe.
- The entry pass and a legitimate photo Identification show must be taken to the preview area.
- Anyone not carrying a passport shall not be allowed to take the test at the time of the check.
- Under no circumstances should the admission card be damaged or torn. Card admission is not considered valid in poor condition.
JEE Main 2024 Result
- In the last week of January and April (for the session that a candidate has appeared) most likely the result of the JEE Main 2021 test is announced.
- Candidates must log in to the official web portal to check the main JEE results.
- Applicants can often use the same method to access their score sheets.
- When the report is released on the website, NTA does not require any re-evaluation requirements.
- The Authority will then forward the result to the respective advisory bodies (CSAB / JoSAA), which allow candidates to secure admission into the university.
